I would use saddle soap and a soft brush

We used to use Jubilee for cleaning and conditioning leather goods - can you still get it, I wonder? If not, there are leather cleaning products for white sneakers that would probably work.

I come from a family of shoe manufacturers, BTW, so I learned a lot about leather, growing up.

P.S. Yes it looks like Walmart sells Jubilee.

Mtn, does that purse have a little leather loop on the back?

Here’s what Dooney suggests…

I am no help as I cleaned the bottom and back of a leather cream colored bag today with Dawn and microfiber cloth. It worked.

I immediately thought of Jubilee as well. I can still picture it in the tall bottle. Sorry, I don't know if it's still recommended or not. Dawn and microfiber sound good......as bumble suggested.

II remember that handbag. I had a red one.

I checked their web site and they had instructions.

How do I clean pebble leather products?

This durable leather has been tumbled to create its iconic, supple texture. It has also been treated for water repellency. The inside of these handbags & accessories are lined in 100% cotton. This leather may be cleaned with a soft cotton cloth slightly dampened with distilled water (sodium-free seltzer water may be substituted) and a mild bar soap, applied in a circular motion. Repeat with distilled water until no residual soap remains. The leather should then be allowed to dry completely. These instructions also apply to pieces from the Belvedere, Dillen, All Weather Leather 2, and Camden Pebble collections, among others. These collections require no creams, polishes, or leather conditioning products to maintain its beauty. Please note, anything containing dyes (ball point pens, lipsticks, etc.) cannot be removed as they will re-dye the surface.

Thank you,Maire. I never would have guessed that. I bought leather cleaner and I am glad

I didn't use it!

Yes, bpath, it has a loop in the back.
