We used Behr Semi-transparent Decorative Concrete Dye (Cedar Blush) on our concrete patio. It peeled and chipped. Maybe our fault because we did not seal it. Anyway....I removed any loose paint, pressure washed the patio, re-dyed it. Now the new areas exposed after removing the loose paint (bare concrete) are lighter BUT they show the scraper marks (should have used a wire brush and not a scraper!) ....I SIMPLY WASN"T THINKING!! Now I am stuck....I thought maybe if I got a accent color in OPAQUE stain (and put it on with a sponge) it might mask my screw up. Did anyone else do anything this dumb? If so, other than removing ALL of the stain and starting again....how did you fix it?
