I have a 21 yr old dry concrete slab. Verryyyy long story short what I have in place right now is dricore R+ throughout the whole first floor and 3/4 inch R&Q red oak that not installed yet. I have 3/8 plywood but now I saw that it says don't glue anything(the video leaves this out). Will the 7/8 narrow crown staples be enough to hold it so there are squeaks. I'm worried that stapling 3/8 plywood to a half inch of OSB like Dricore says to do wont be enough of a hold.

Not important to the question but if you want to why and how i got here

I wanted to do hydronic radiant heat(and bought it) but I can't get an HVAC company to install a boiler they say ahh this is a 2-3 day job and then never send a quote or call back. Gas is far cheaper than electricity in southwest PA. I have a couple of rooms that have lots of windows and vaulted ceilings with a staircase that leads to a big loft upstairs. In the winter it will be 85 upstairs, 68 in those rooms and 72 in the rest of the house. The house is well insulated and it has good double pane windows. I just want to make the upstairs livable and the windowed rooms(on is now my office) livable. WIthout spending the fortune on gas or electric.
