backsplash advice needed-mix marble HELP.

Help choosing backsplash. We are doing New Ravenna Simone up the center of range to the ceiling. Deciding on the 3x9 marble to go along the sides.

The Simone tile is a mix of calacatta gold, thassos and brass. Trying to decide is side tile should be calacatta gold (from same custom cut lot as simone) or if it should be Carrera Bella. The price difference is VERY significant. But I hate to spend the extra thousands if not necessary. And hate to not spend it, if it was necessary. This is our forever kitchen.

What are your thoughts? I am attaching our counter slab and pics of the Simone tile. Picture has calacatta gold on left and Carrera Bella on the right.

Your countertop is very decorative and pretty. I'd let it be the star, and not do an accent behind the stove, and I'd do a plainer backsplash...

The first thing I’d say is to wait on the backsplash. Do it after the kitchen is complete.
And when you do. Stay simple classic and timeless. Don’t do anything too busy the countertops have interest and are beautiful!!

I agree to get the cabinets and countertops installed first. Let your counters be the star. I would choose a very simple backsplash. Your countertops are beautiful❣️

To me the 3x6 marble tiles you have picked out clash wirh your countertop.

Thank you everyone. I’m definitely not ordering anything till counter is installed. I’m also definitely not the simple type to do an all white subway tile. I’m living having some brass in the backsplash. And some type of marbling. Not sure the stone. Will have a navy island and want to pick some of that. I will also have a huge chimney going through my island and want the eyes drawn away from that.
