Awhile ago there was a thread about regrowing vegetables from the cuttings left after using the rest for dinner. My daughter just re-planted a de-leafed lettuce "plant" from this weekend's party:

Now to see if it will grow new leaves for me to pick. I'm keeping it in the air-conditioned house in hope that this will be cooler for it's growing requirements. I'm wondering if I should put it in a sunny window. ??? Probably.
