looks like a plant with a larger future potential.. in a small propagation pot .... it is probably a good idea to repot it soon.. before the roots get all tangled up ...

get some good media ... and a larger pot with drainage .... and repot it.. before the roots get to tied up in the small pot ...

if you want guidance on media.. ask ...

generally speaking.. when a tag says simply houseplant or tropical.. they are telling you common houseplant rules apply.. and the plants are so easy.. you probably dont need any further info ... and i would guess ... tropical means it likes water.. as compared to the tag that says... succulent ... it doesnt need to be much harder than that ...

all that said.. knowing the specific cultivar name.. is knowledge.. and kowledge is power ... so dont get me wrong ...

I have quite a few philodendrons but this one gave me some trouble so I gave it away. I could never quite figure out what it wanted. If you do, come back and give us an update. It's a cutie but didn't want to be my friend!

Oh and nothing wrong with syngoniums. I love them too. There are some very exciting syngoniums out there. Check out albo, pink spot, rayii, erythrophyllum 'llano carti road' and my favorite Chiapense.

Syngoniums don't like me lol. Some of the pricier ones are a lot more interesting but I just don't like them enough to risk it it dying on me like the others I've had. Maybe its the shape if the leaves. I'm not a fan of ivy, and that's all I see.

And I will update you about the plant. So far so good. Nice healthy roots. I put it in my daughter's room where the light is pretty low and forgot about for awhile. It seems to be thriving there being forgotten and underwatered
