Elsa Challenge Finish - from Colorado

Sharon gave us a challenge to do something in the wake of Hurrican Elsa. Being in Colorado, I wasn't threatened by that weather, but we are dealing with my MIL's health. She is almost 96 and has been in & out of the hospital 4 times since my mom passed away in March and they can't find anything wrong with her. They lived 2 houses apart and saw each other every day for the last 26 years and were like best friends. DH flew down to Arizona on Friday so I got busy quilting.


I sandwiched this baby quilt and finished the quilting. I saw a picture of a similar quilt on Pinterest so just worked out the dimensions for this one. It goes to a friend's son & wife for their first baby. I found a cute book "Gotta Go! Gotta Go!" by Sam Swope to include with the quilt.

The border is more pink than shows in the picture.

I found really cute butterfly material for the back.
