Do we need to keep the front door no one uses?

We want to improve our 7X13 foot, enclosed porch on the northeast side of our house to eliminate drafts, insulate, in short-make it three season. The door facing the street is on the other side of the property from the driveway. As a result, everyone uses the door off the kitchen instead (proximity is everything). The porch has a row of storm windows along the outside wall that we would like to replace with clerestory to allow for increased, inside wall space and privacy (there is no special view). There is door a at the rear of the porch that is our backyard access. The door to the interior of the house leads into our living room.

We're wondering whether replacing our front door with a window could give us a more usable interior space or will replacing the street-facing door look unappealing?
