Building a Home Design Dilemma Home Decorating

Stairway Trim/Molding Design Advice

We recently built a new house and are trying to slowly make it feel like home. My next phase is the staircase. I originally thought some pictures at the landing or walk art would do the trick, but am thinking molding might be necessary. If we do decide on molding how far up should we go on the walls? And do I need it in the foyer as well? Thank you in advance!

Ohh I do like that. Then would it look better to paint it all white or paint the color of the rest of the house? It might be kind of difficult to pull off though with the ceiling angles.

You can stop however high you want. Search "judges panel" on Houzz for other rooms where it is used.
