Help! Can't sand my deck anymore!

Hello-

I started sanding my deck with an orbital sander early July. I had to stop because it was taking a toll on me physically. My deck is 1/2 sanded, and I have not had much success in my market getting any handyman to call me back. The one estimate I got was $2,500, which seems too much considering it is almost sanded. I do no have the strength to handle a floor sander or anything like that. I am wondering if I should just put some more of the Benjamin Moore Oxford Brown Semi-transparent stain on it and call it a day. Would this look funny because some boards are stripped down to bare wood and others aren't? Or would I just need to reapply more stain on those boards? I am in the Tacoma, WA area if anyone knows of a handyman! Thanks!

DA is wrong sander for that job,belt floor sander is needed. The maintainance people at schools have experience. If you know how to contact them they might welcome extra income.

Our ACE store in Fargo, ND bought it last year, to use as a rental-machine. The company-name is "Square-Scrub", which makes a lot of Janitorial scrubbing machines, floor-sanders, etc. It wasn't cheap tho'.....a couple $$Grand?!??? 😳😲😯

Head to YouTube, & search for "Deck-Sanding". This thing is HEAVY! You WILL need help getting it from a store to your vehicle, & onto the deck.

Once on the deck, it's SO EASY to use!!! A little-old-Lady could sand her deck!
