Laundry Room Dryer Lint—everywhere, always

So, I’ve created a work space in my basement laundry room because I have limited space in my home. The issue I’m having is that my dryer seems to emit dust everywhere in it’s vicinity, leaving clumps and dusty layers of lint on everything all the time. It seems like the lint vent going outside is secured and I don’t see much evidence of it sneaking out of the sealed/taped areas. Is this just a normal problem and I just have to keep dusting like there’s no tomorrow? 😅
I’m just not sure if the bulk of it is coming out of the small area surrounding the lint trap or maybe the slotted vents in the back of the dryer… any products I can get like some kind of intermediary filter or seal replacement… 🤷‍♀️

Disconnect and clean out the vent. Unplug the dryer, and clean out the dryer itself. No, you should not get lint like that, if everything is working properly. A dryer that needs cleaning, or a vent itself that needs cleaning is also a fire hazard. There are u-tube videos, on how to clean a dryer or dryer vent, if you have never done that.

Seems like isn't sufficient. The exhaust ducting should be thoroughly examined.

Those slots are for air intake, not outflow.

Duct should have no kinks and bends and vent to outside as close as possible to dryer. We had the same issue with a vent that went half the house length. Rerouted and solved.

IMO, just cleaning out the dryer's lint filter can generate a good bit of lint into the air. I always mist the lint on the filter first with a fine mist of water before I remove it. It seems to cut down on the amount of lint released in our laundry room.
