Getting new white shaker cabs. Still picking countertops. Thinking of doing a matching slab backsplash and countertop in quartz or similar whitish color stone. (Would love a recommendation). Has anyone done a slab backsplash with a setback casement window like mine? (i dont like the window but seems difficult to replace)

Will it work or stick out too much? Should i have the slab go all the way to the top or go up until they meet open shelves? Should I install shelves on both sides of the sink or only on the far right. There will be an induction range installed on the right and new floors Any help is much appreciated since this is the focal point of my kitchen.
