How to get bicycle grease stains out

Got bike grease on my new (of course...) shirt -- AARGH! I tried Shout stain remover then washed that didn't work. What else should I try? I haven't put it thru the dryer yet, trying to avoid "setting" the stain.

I got most of it by squirting w/dish soap and rubbing out with a toothbrush. Still a faint spot of it left but I don't think anyone's eyesight is that good to notice it.

Try soaking in dawn and oxy for several hours.

Will Palmolive work? What sort of ratio/dilution of water:dish soap:Oxi?

Mxk3, sorry I'm not a measurer. I would just fill a stationary tub with enough water to cover shirt and squirt in dawn and pour in some oxy.

Use a solvent for grease first.... a solvent based stain remover.....then use straight laundry detergent...like Tide or Gain....rub it in well and then wash.

Waterless hand cleaner without added pumice (GoJo, Goop, etc.) is great for removing grease stains. I also use it for final cleaning of natural bristle paint brushes when using oil based products.
