I agree with Sea Sea. Ecos cleans horribly and leaves everything coated in a film that will eventually make your fabrics feel tacky and weighed down. Avoid at all costs!!

Seventh Generation is not all that great at cleaning either. Body oils will build up in your fabrics that will eventually lead to permastink. I also question how environmentally friendly a bio-based detergent is when the primary oil they use is palm oil. Vast amounts of rain forests have been destroyed to make way for oil palm plantations.

Tide F&G liquid is an excellent alternative and it does not contain optical brighteners (OBs). The lack of OBs were once one of the main selling points of green detergents.
