Easy Chandelier Upcycle Improvement!

Couldn't find a less dated chandelier I liked so I ended up removing the shades and using Edison bulbs- so easy & inexpensive!

This is a hijack but it reminded me of my MILs chandy. She built a home from scratch at 70 and carefully chose her dining room Chandelier. She was sooo sooo proud of it. It was not one you see every day--in a good way. They both died at 80, 10 years ago now, and I recently saw the house listed again and was curious to see all the changes the second owner made. One was the chandelier. It is now much like your before. I can't help but wonder what happened to the much more expensive prettier chandelier my MIL chose!!
