I've been doing a lot of research but can't quite make a decision on the paint to use for my bathrooms including the ceiling over the shower area. Zinsser Perma-White Semi-gloss and Valspar Signature seem to be mentioned by quite a few websites. Valspar's ratings from reviews seem to be less favorable than Zinsser's. But Zinsser's manufacturer repeatedly commenting that it is not intended for use for shower ceiling due to high steam/mist. Can anyone comment and help out which is better? Or is there a better paint that I can use? I just want the best paint possible. Also looked at SW HGTV Home. Any comment on that?

Things I look for:

1. Low/no VOC, no new-paint odor

2. Resistant to mold/mildew

3. Can withstand steamy shower well

4. Semi-gloss sheen and white color
