Complementary colors in neighboring rooms

I am in full agreement with the other Houzzers here, your work is beautiful. Thank you for posting it for all of us.
We are thinking of using BM Revere Pewter with white on our wordwork/trim in our foyer and the family room/ kitchen that it flows into. When you enter the foyer you have our dining room to the left and a living room to the right. In the dining room, we are planning on installing tall white panels with a dark grey color on the upper wall. My question is what color do you think would be complementary in the opposing living room up against the Revere Pewter foyer and across from the dark grey dining room? Another dark color? Thanks so much for your help!!

Thanks - I think I would actually go for consistency and use Revere Pewter in the Living Room. The dining room already the punch with the dark gray and white below. I am not a fan of having each room a different color, but that's just me. Good luck and send me a picture when it's done.

You used Revere Pewter but also Sandy Hook I another room. Are they very different? I like both. I need to choose one for the dining room/sitting room which is closed off from the kitchen and adjoining living room. Should I stick with one, or use two separate colors?
