I am trying to find a pretty glass top table, approximately 42 - 44 inches in diameter, for my breakfast area. I would prefer not to have a pedestal base, but wouldn't rule it out if it is really lovely. There are some pretty drum style bases with open designs out there, but my practical nature can only see a problem trying to dust or mop under the table within the base without moving the whole table aside. That would be a deal breaker.

I can use polished chrome or white painted legs, but I don't like the ubiquitous angled or crisscrossed legs, which are very popular styles right now. Unfortunately, my restrictions don't leave very many options.

Any suggestions?
