Light is fine. The living space needs LAMPS. Standing or table. The antidote to darkness is electricity.

I meant is the fixture too dark. I have dark wood fireplace built ins and darker ceiling fan so didn’t know if it was too much or too many darker accents.

I need help finding side tables and I do want a floor lamp too. The changing table will go. It’s helpful but not as highly needed as earlier on.

We also added recessed lights in great room, kitchen and Eat in which makes it so much better.

IMO you want to light the table not the ceiling so no .

Making the chandelier an accent light over the table.

I would put the Chandelier on a dimmer for those romantic dinner nights :-)

We do have it set to be dimmable. I would add too one thing we were weary of is a fixture that could be too bulky or block view into the great room. We wanted to still try to keep it open. Maybe it wouldn’t have been an issue. Also considering glass or a dome light I wanted something that wouldn’t collect and show a ton of dust or be higher maintenance to clean. I could be totally overthinking it but just tho if that I’d share some thoughts I had.

Well, I love your decorating and I think the first lighting you posted is great (five light Chandelier) is perfect.

It will get dusty :) but you won't mind dusting it, if you love it.
