Fireplace (3 sided) Frame and/or Wall Design

Need help designing fireplace frame and wall. I bought a “cabinet” that encases the fireplace for a wall mount, but I don’t like it (don’t want to use it). Instead, I plan to recess the fireplace 4 inches into the wall (which will leave approx. 8-9 inches out of the wall). I want the sides to show. We are replacing the pocket doors with a foot taller French Glass Doors (that will lead into guest bedroom). The first picture will be the fire place wall. You can see the fireplace sitting on the floor under the TV, but it is currently inside a cabinet that I don’t want to use). I will also post some ideas (what I’m leaning towards), but I’m hoping to get some feedback and any ideas. We won’t receive the French Doors until mid October, so that gives me some time to plan the fireplace frame or wall. I am interested in covering the fireplace frame in stone tile (similar to what we have in my Kitchen bar and backsplash) or Quartz (like our kitchen counter top). I have attached a picture of the kitchen and living room (to give an idea of the space it will be in). Help??? What kind of fireplace frame do you see in this beach condo? Would you include the entire wall or just the side with the TV? What materials would you use (stone tile or quartz)? BTW, this electric fireplace can be installed showing 3 sides, 2 sides, or completely recessed.
