This 2 year old french door refrigerstor ( BFFD3624SS) with water dispenser and automaker ice maker inside unit began "knocking" a couple of months ago. It seems to "knock" when the unit is calling for water to make the ice cubes. Has anyone had experience with this and if so, how do I shut the ice maker off. There is a control panel on the inside top of refrig but there doesn't seem to be an "off". The repairman cannot come for another few weeks- backed up and partially blamed on Covid. Would appreciate any advice or suggestions why the knocking may be happening and what I can do about it.
