Home Repair Windows Design Dilemma

Need window recommendations

So we bought our first home! YAY! I want to replace the windows with new ones since they are in rough shape and 25 years old. I want modern black frames and impact if I can afford it (we are a block off the beach) looking for affordable brands and some guidance. Thanks

Affordable, Black and Impact Rated are not often words used in the same sentence. What type of windows (casement, dbl hung, etc.)? Installed price or windows only? Region of the country?

PGT is the most common and one of the better local companies. Marvin will make their Elevate Fiberglass units in an IR product as well which may be worth looking at.
