Do they have anything patterned for the chair?

They look fine together. But I’d prefer to see a bit more something. Maybe a striped chair. Cream and blue stripes?

@palimpsest they have patterns in other fabrics but they arent as pet friendly. of course, the chair might not need to be as pet friendly as the couch, so i would consider other fabrics. what color do you think would look good in a pattern?

A solid would also be good in another texture, these just appear to be two different colors in the same fabric. Does your cat scratch everything or do you have an idea of what sorts of fabric she scratches most. In our bedrooms we have velvet chairs and the cat has shown absolutely no interest in scratching or pretending to scratch those at all. (Actually she has really only actively scratched one fabric and I think it is because the upholsterer had a cat). She does pluck at some of the furniture like she is *going to scratch it, but that is only to get our attention, but she has never done that to the velvet because I don't think it feels right to her to even try to scratch it.

I have three cats and have had the best luck with canvas and twill, but I do have a velvet chair that has held up remarkably well despite one of my girls sometimes sitting on the back and scratching.

Of the patterns, the Kivett plaids are a plain weave that I don't think would interest my cats (YCMV). Maybe the Trend herringbones, which don't look to be textured. My cats don't mix with boucle or textured woven fabrics.
