Can you more clearly delineate the plan- maybe draw on the shower and tub as well as label the openings...

ok. I've updated the pics

Is that suposed to be a free standing tub?

Don’t really love the tub. Must there be a tub? What is the existing layout? Can the toilet move?

Where is the lavabo?

When I planned the remodel of our SoCal master bathroom, I eliminated the hated tub/shower combo and had a nice corner tile-and-glass shower built. No tub: the water cools too fast unless you can find a well-insulated tub, and in SoCal, we are very low on water, so a nice big tub soak is out of the question. No regrets.

What contortions will be needed to climb into the tub when it is so near the shower? Awkward.

The linen cabinet will not work in the space.

The door to the bathroom should be changed to perhaps a sliding pocket door to gain some space inside the room.

I don't think the tub works in that location either.

Consider a tub shower combination.

Use the space over the toilet for storage

That tub looks like a nightmare to clean around. i would skip the tub.

If there is another tub in the house, don’t include it here. Big shower and big linen closet is more practical these days.
I wouldn’t love having the door swing into the vanity. Can that be switched?

Yes, the picture is supposed to represent a free standing tub. That said we can opt for a shower/shower-tub combo. If I orient that on the back wall should we move the toilet somewhere else?

If the toilet can move to the right side of the plan, then the vanity and linen can take over the whole left side.

Vanity and linen on the left, tub/shower combo right of the door and toilet on the top right corner.

I like decoenthusiast’s idea!

In large shower be extending towards the door and convert the door to become a pocket door.

Second option use the wet shower which allows you to have shower and Tub in one open area and you will see that as a current trend.
