I wouldn’t be putting fancy expensive quartz on top of those tired old cabinets. It will only make them look tireder and older in comparison. And then you’re just stuck. Because that is the wrong order of operation to changes in a kitchen. Cabinets come first for changes.

Verbo, I don't recall asking for kitchen design advice in this post. I have a vision and these cabinets fit it perfectly (even if I were to get new cabinets I would basically be trying to match them to these rustic ones, so I really don't see the point). I could care less if you agree with this or not. For future reference, I can guarantee you that posters don't want your unsolicited advice.
