It's fine, and workable in the future. You just need to set an heirarchy for the facade, because the lower roof (with varying window heights) and the lean-to is forcing your eye to expect a defined heirarchy that is not expressed in the flush facade. So with the RED lines a variation in materials, trim, or something could offer a solution. Certainly not a deal killer when all the boxes are checked.

Oh! Thank you both for the suggestions and advice! That does make me more excited.. It is the shutters that definitely make it feel off as well as that offset design.. is the roof supposed to be that close to the windows? I don’t mind it but it does also seem odd.

The shutters & lack of appropriate landscaping ( from what little i can see ) are the culprits. Perhaps a tree, larger shrubbery etc. will help draw your eyes away from the disjointed part(s). Good luck, it looks like a nice house!
