Is there a minimum size for ADU?

I live in corona ca. I have a space for a 10x12 ( more space is available to increase the length) deck that I would like to replace with a sleeping quarters with a 1/2 bath and kitchenette.

    As long that there is room to expend to, then it is fine.

    You may want to contact the city in order to ask about if any certain regulation applies to your neighborhood.

    10x12’ is barely a room. If you want a bedroom, bath and kitchenette, it will have to be much larger
