Liquid tide detergent stains on light red polo hoodie

I got liquid tide detergent stains on my light red polo hoodie and cant get them out. I washed it again with odorless detergent and snuggle softener and they were a lot less noticeable but still there. Anything I can do? Should I just keep doing the same thing until its gone or what?

Liquid detergents do not contain bleach. Look on Tide's website. They may contain extra ingredients such as enzymes and brighteners. Lots of people are getting stains, pods not dissolving, ect., I believe it's from low water levels in the washers. We didn't hear of such before the gov. entered the laundry rooms.

You might try mixing the detergent with warm water before adding to the washer. But yeah, keeping washing without soap until it comes out, just don't put it in the dryer.

Is this Tide with bleach? If that's the case, those stains aren't coming out.

If not, I wouldn't wash it again. Just soak it overnight. It should dissolve the excess detergent.

Try taking it to the dry cleaners. I spilled blue liquid tide (non bleach) on a linen napkin and could not get the blue out…but the dry cleaners got it out.

No fabric softener till you solve the spot problem. (Actually I wouldn’t use the fabric softener ever.)

Get some old fashioned powdered Calgon water softener....use a measure of that in your washer with no other stuff. You will be surprised at what it removes that gets bound to your clothes in the washer.

I would try to soak in vinegar solution overnight. Detergent dye should come out as long as you did not dry it in. I would not rule out the fact that it could be fabric softener too.

If you are trying to wash it out with cold water, you might need to try warm.
