Help with Humidifier Placement

This year my kid got diagnosed with Asthma and we’ve been doing a few things around the house to make it a bit more friendly (1” to 4” media filters, reverse osmosis system with UV light) now it’s time to install the humidifier for seasonal changes. I finished my basement with plumbing and electric and I added a few vents with flex tubing but that’s really all my HVAC experience. I feel totally comfortable tackling a humidifier and tying it into my Google Nest but I have one question before final install: WHERE is the best place to add a humidifier on my system. Really not a whole lot of real estate on this unit for it. I have a diagram here where I think might be best. It’s after the media filter but before the coils. Please let me know your thoughts.

side note: do you think it is also okay to add UV light on other side of HVAC? Sharing space in the duct with humidifier? Or just place it in the return?
