To stain (or oil, or paint) or not to stain - mahogany front door?

Keep it the current natural mahogany color it is now
Paint the door black
Stain the door charwood to try and match the cedar siding (although these are 2 different woods so it won't match 100%)
Try to lighten up the mahogany a bit with an oil, sealant, or stain, if that's even possible?
Something else? Please explain in the comments. TY
