Unfortunately your probably wouldn't get much for it. Antique/vintage furniture is not very popular anymore. Of course it depends on where you live, but here it might go for $50 - $100 Although I think $100 would be stretching it.

Agree with other poster. $50-75 feels about right for this piece. Don’t paint it thinking that will make it more valuable.

Ack! Paint would not improve it! Let its next owner destroy what value it still has.

I bought a similar piece a couple years ago and paid around $100……and I painted it. And I love it.

I have a wonderful almost-antique Jacobean sideboard I use as our TV console, it was $150. Prices really depend on areas, but $150 - 200 is average where I live. They are popular here. I wouldn’t paint it if you’re going to sell it.

I am trying to find a makers mark but have not been able to find one. I am going to do another thorough look on this and the other 2 pieces.

It is a beautiful piece now. If you are getting rid of it, let it go without any further thought. If a buyer wants it painted, let them do so. Anything less than a fabulous paint job wouldn't be worth it unless you intend to use it in your own house long term

Glad to see that people have some sense. Buy to last -- not for the moment. But here, at least, the old furniture is fairly inexpensive. As cheap or perhaps cheaper than it was 50 years ago.

Here, Colorado, brown furniture hasn't made a come back. My neighbor purchased one just like it for $50 and painted it.

I really like good...old...quality pieces...but they're giving this stuff away. ♥ It's a lovely piece!
