I use about 100F for all herbs but I'm patient and don't care how long it takes. I wouldn't go over 110F or the leaves may scorch.

I have a bunch of garlic cloves that were rejected for planting that I need to slice and dehydrate. I use about 130F for those and it takes a good 24-30 hours.

I tend to run my dehydrator at 95-100 and be patient. Is it just the leaves stripped off the stems, or on the stems? On stem can take a lot longer to dry out well. How densely you have the leaves packed into your dehydrator can play a factor in how long it takes to dry well.

Thank you both for such quick replies! It is just leaves -- no stems -- and I filled every tray. I laid the leaves out just like I would for drying in the microwave or oven, so I figure I'm ok there. Patience is what's missing. lol! Thank you both again. :)

I have dried mint leaves for tea and that's similar, the instruction book for my Excaliber said 90F for 10-12 hours but it took more like 15. Too hot and the herbs "cook" instead of just drying out, and then they lose a lot of flavor and aroma.

Like Jack, I dehydrate garlic and that can take 18 hours or more.

Be patient, I know it's hard. (grin)
