Well, they got the color right, at least, lol. Quatre Saisons (four seasons) rose usually refers to the pink Damask, known since the 1600's. The rose in the movie is obviously a (very) modern rose, looks to be a hybrid tea. It was chosen no doubt for it's photogenic qualities, not its historical accuracy. I hope someone can ID it for you, but it's definitely NOT "Four Seasons".

Here are the locations where the movie was filmed (all in England, by the way!): Black Park, Cliveden House, Pinewood Studios, Blenheim Palace, Waddesdon Manor, Hampton Court Palace, Ham House, Ashridge and Chenies Manor. Black Park seems to be a "natural" area (i.e., probably no gardens) and Pinewood Studios also not likely, but the other places, as stately manors, might have rose gardens that could be researched.

The foliage looks rather "Hybrid Tea" to me. Having dealt with prop people requiring set pieces for photography and filming shoots, they get sent out for all manner of "stuff" to populate their sets. Most likely, someone was sent out with the demand they produce "pink roses" to allow the star to wander through smelling the flowers. Those may have come from a florist's green houses; a garden center's sales area, or, if they have such things where it was filmed, a wholesale grower's growing grounds. There is a very comfortable living to be made "renting" such things for "media use".

I’d recommend just advanced searching nurseries or HMF for similar Hybrid Teas in that color range, ones that grow well in your area and have the features you prefer. That way you will likely get a rose that will make you happy in a long term relationship. Whatever rose was used on the set was likely sprayed and coddled for the purpose. The vintage-looking image is very picturesque! I see why you are charmed by whatever this lovely rose is. Carol

Possibly 'Princesse Charlene de Monaco'. It grows over 6 feet tall here, but likely much shorter in England. The color and size of of the blossoms and rather large leaves are similar to those of this variety.

To me, it looks like it could be a David Austin wedding rose, Edith. Although the two pictures you posted look like different roses.

Based on helpmefind pictures, Crazy Love can have that apricot to pink coloration, but it might just depend on your climate/conditions etc.

From the disheveled look of the foliage in the garden scene photo, it doesn't even look like the roses are growing from an in ground or pot grown bush there, but they are possibly florist's cut roses inserted into vessels hidden discretely out of sight. Where are the side buds? Where are the new basals or laterals with just emerging shoots or just young green growth?

I would venture to say the roses are Columbian or Ecuadorian grown with those arrow straight stems and the blooms not even bending slightly, especially the cut one in Kate's hand. Look at that straight, straight stem!

Them be cut posies, I reckon. 😁

BTW Kate should have washed and fixed up her hair for that scene of the shoot! She looks like a street urchin, not a proper young lady! But of course, I don't know the story line, so I may get my face washed in the end for my comments!
