my power use has been 50% higher for the last 3-4 months. this summer the transformer box at my front yard popped and i only had 120v in house. seems 1 leg was missing? all lights worked. but no central air. no stove burner. power company came out and fiddled around in transformer box at street curb and i had 230now. i noticed when 230 was off, my elec meter was not spinning. even though all lights were on in house. is it possible my meter accuracy is now messed up? how can my power use increase by 50%?
