We are putting in quartz countertops to a cabinets that do not yet have a wall. Basically, the wall behind it is extending out 1 1/2 inches. We have the framework furred in. Is it better to attach drywall before or after the quartz goes in? There will not be a tile backsplash so it needs to look polished with just the drywall.
