I have seen similar on TV, and similar usage on ductwork sealing, and I think the concept is fantastic. It definitely seems to work well.

What is your current ACH @ 50 Pa rating? What level of tightness are you trying to achieve? I was the contractor on our house and achieved a 0.40 ACH level just by paying attention to details and sealing things up after each trade was gone. What would it cost you to have things tightened up manually (manpower + foam + caulk)? How does that compare to Aerobarrier?
