Hello- we just received the Pottery Barn hardware and panels we ordered. Were installing four panels (blackoutit) over both Living Room amd Master Bedroom. the windows are large- doublw windows that are 82” across.

we ordered the PB antique bronze hardware- the rods go up to 122” length, so well have plenty of room. i figure well have then extended to about 106” total.

Heres my dilemma- the rods came with five brackets each! wouldnt using 5 brackets make it impossible to close the drapes? i thought we’d install one at each end and one support bracket in the center?

We’ll use rings to hang the panels….

any idea why the five brackets? flumoxed! 😎
