Worms in rosemary pot

Hi, I'm a beginner in growing herbs. I bought a rosemary plant in pot, keeping it indoor. Between struggling to not under/overwater it, the plant is quite loose in the pot, when I take it out, there are white worms less than 1 cm long, apparently afraid of light. When I water the plant, they multiply.

Is it normal? Something to worry about? Not a fan of worms but I guess they can be a normal part of soil. Thanks
