    Morning Beautiful, Kjoy 😘.

Vanilla ice cream, butter cookie crumbles, snicker snacker bits, and whipped cream! Yummy!

Shwshw…Don’t know if you seen it but there is a public idea book on my thread that’s the whole Christmas photo story with these guys. 🙄

I think I’m definitely going to have a second go at this Ice cream sundae for breakfast project… Eating gnome leftovers didn’t quite cut it.🤣

Thank you! I will check that out.

Love the gnome story. It would make a great kids book

I must apologize. Just too much going on here for doing Sundaes. Son and DIL are bidding on their first home (huge bidding war) and we were texting half the night! Previous night, DH prepping for Colonoscopy so unappetizing time! Y’all did outstanding job. Maybe next year. Lia, your creativity with the Gnomes take the “cake”! So adorable!

Okay Seajay, I made one too...and I actually ate it, but admit to not eating 2 of the ruby chocolate pieces and to adding a lot more instant espresso powder to make it more like a coffee. Lol

So...here you have it, my morning coffee sundae... with Breyer's vanilla ice cream, topped with a bit of fresh brewed espresso, fudgy chocolate/cinnamon sauce I just made, espresso powder, sliced banana, peanuts and a few snowflake sprinkles for the cute factor...lol..then a few ruby chocolate squares to add a bit of pink to go with my special Starbucks cup. :)

I could have used crystal, but it's packed ...who knows where!

    Okay enough talking...lol

Had visions of using a beautiful piece of stemware that was my grandmothers, but it is at home, and alas, we are not. A glass from where we are staying had to suffice.

Häagen-Dazs Vanilla with strawberry simply fruit topping.

A little late to the party. Coffee chip ice cream, sprinkled with Godiva chocolate pearls.

Seajay I love how you added Honey Nut Cheerios to make it a tad breakfasty 🤣

    Ohh…Godiva Chocolate pearls…that looks dangerous…😍

Yes, Nora, please tell us about those pearls.

beadsnsew my moms favorite is vanilla ice cream with strawberry fruit topping 🍨

Wow zaz I think I need a pink coffee cup in my life!

    Hi Kim 🙋‍♀️

Zaz, that looks so pretty. Glad you decided to join us.

    Those gnomes 😅😂🤣

    Lisa so fancy!!!

glschisler I love your gold spoon 🤩

All inherited kjoy! But in the last few years I’ve decided these things need to be used more regularly — not just twice a year.

Godiva Chocolate Pearls. In one of the many gifts I received from my wonderful neighbors at Christmas.

Where’s pool? I know she had sports try outs this morning, but she’s more than fashionably late to the party ;-)

Yummy! Why don’t I know about dark chocolate pearls! Sounds like a “staple” to me!! Lol

Yes, just don't leave them in your purse in the heat. LOL

They become more of a choc lump than pearls. 😂

    Thanks Seajay... 😘

Thanks Kjoy, I snagged that from Ebay... so many cute ones! :)

    Thank you Kjoy1 😀

Y’all have had very delicious looking sundaes today! How fun! It’s is like us all being together and sharing at the breakfast/brunch table today!

Today is OH's birthday (a milestone) so ice cream for breakfast wouldn't have been acceptable for him. Next time!

Exactly glassy! I’d mentioned what we were doing to DH but I don’t think he paid attention. But he grew interested when I was making hot fudge and setting the table at 7 am. "How fun," were his exact words. He asked throughout the day to see everyone’s sundaes. Breakfast sundaes are fun, but sharing with friends who help each other through these turbulent times is perfection.

Fun day, Lisa! I enjoyed seeing familiar and new faces. Hi right back to you all 😘. Thank you so much for the invitation. And yeah…where’s Pool?

I also wanted to pop in and say how much I enjoyed today and thank all y’all for being so sweet, literally😉😎. It did feel exactly like glassy described. When you stop to think about it, many of us have been conversing and commiserating for quite a number of years. It’s always special to be in such good company.

    ………

Lisa, a special thanks to you for letting your secret breakfast sundae be a secret no more 😘.

How much fun! What a great idea. I will pay attention next time.

We thank you Seajay! I am hoping next year I am able to do Sundae Saturday! Hubby is big dessert guy so he wants to practice all year!! Lol

Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I had my head so far into a sewing machine with mom on video that I plain forgot what day and time it was 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😭 and I was prepared! My loss!!… to be sure there will be a next time 😉 Absolutely loved all your sundaes and settings, guests 😂, spoons and the alligator placemat!! 😁😍 Over the top - so fun!! Hi Kim!! 😘

I don't know how I managed to get two pictures acting as if they are one. And I cannot delete either of them somehow. I left it as is, hoping somebody knows the answer to what happened.

So my Saturday sundae turned out to be a Sunday sundae. Yesterday morning I realized, like a lightning bolt, that I had to get GD's birthday box mailed that morning before an 11:00 a.m. zoom meeting with my sisters. All other projects, including ice cream, were pushed aside. This morning I had a bit more time to devote to important matters like ice cream for breakfast. The bowl is from a set of 16 that was a wedding gift to my parents. The spoon is monogrammed with "F", a family name. You can see just a corner of an interlocking wooden Swedish Christmas tree my parents had. HD coffee ice cream turned out to not be as good as Mackinac Island fudge ice cream with coffee extract and espresso mixed in. The peppermint stick ice cream had candy cane bits added in for a yummy crunch. Toppings are toasted pecan bits, dark chocolate sauce, and a bit of good old Cool whip. I could go for a repeat of that everyday, I'm afraid. My clothes would not appreciate it though.

The bowl is beautiful! The sundae looks delish, too.

DD, I’ll do a better job of sending out reminders. Marjie, better late than never. Your Sunday sundae looks good enough to eat every Sunday. 😉😎. And the Mackinac Island flavor sounds divine. See y’all next year.

Mackinaw Island dark chocolate. Oh my! My heart is beating for it. Yum!!

Oohhh…Dark chocolate and raspberries. My favorite!

DD You should’ve joined in anyway! What difference does a day make… Just do it.

Liasch, I’m so glad you said a day late doesn’t matter Bc hopefully two don’t either. 😂
Here I am! I am SOOOO sorry I missed it Saturday. As Lisa said, I had sports which ended up being way longer than originally planned Bc my overachieving self now coaches two teams. What am I thinking?

Anyway, I was gone until the afternoon and thad a friend visiting and never sat down. Must admit I wasn’t feeling the best yesterday 😵‍💫
Anyway I’m here today and did manage to scroll along Saturday and so happy y’all had such yummy treats! Omgosh I am impressed. And a bit jealous.

All I could find this morning was an Oreo ice cream sandwich, topped off with chocolate whipped cream and sprinkles. I scarfed it down while DH took the kids to school. So it’s still a secret in this house! Lol
Served in one my moms China teacups 🥰

Oh, Pool, so glad you made it. Hey, we’re just happy everyone showed up 😘. We’re think about “happy hour February “ now. Maybe more your speed 🤣😂😎. My bad!

lol seajay. but probably true :)

SeaJay I think we should think about something for Valentine’s Day… Any excuse to eat chocolate…in excess!

I bought this book for YS & GF for Christmas… I probably should’ve kept it for myself… maybe we could have a valentine chocolate indulgence party? And for those who can’t eat chocolate, an alternate flavour of their choice!

Pool, a "Mommy secret" -- a fun kind to have.

Marjie and pool, Saturday Sundaes or Sunday Sundaes — who cares!?! Heck, for the past two years I’ve rarely known what day it is, convenient because I get more Sazerac Saturdays. The point is to remember to sometimes treat yourself and indulge. Remember that marjie because right now you deserve it most of all. Pool, are the Little Debbie’s still a secret?

haha yes nobody knows about my closet snacks. This was fun and I wish I'd been able to participate in real time. But still yummy this morning!

Fun sprinkles Pool. My kids love Oreo ice cream. They always get the Oreo blizzard at Dairy Queen.
