Move the bed to the center of the room and put side table on the other side. Table needs a lamp. Put something on the wall over the bed (unless you are in earthquake zone) or a headboard. Room lacks color so coordinate new bedding with pic on wall, a theme color s/he likes. Reduce clutter, maybe use baskets to contain stuff that needs to be out. put in a ceiling fan and remove floor fan.

The bed location seems fine and I imagine it is located there so that there is room to get in and out of closet and or room door, etc. I like the current bedding and pillows; elegant.

I think the simplest and most effective way to bring in a new look for the room would be to paint the walls, or alternatively a removable wallpaper. For paint, I like Benjamin Moore’s Natura line - or something similar - for environmentally friendly.

The room is very tiny. I’ve an hour away from her She is pretty much standing a little from entry. Maybe 9 x12 approx room size. The dressers can’t fit in closet unfortunately

Modern with traditional is her style. What kind of lamp fir the night stand. I’ll see if I’m allowed to move bed and nightstand to other side. Should the foot of the bed be facing the door?

Could bed be turned/centered under window and add a low headboard. Move dresser to opposite wall and add a mirror and highboy moved under tv. Don’t suggest floating shelves. To organize small items and to reduce items on surfaces, add a tiered plastic drawer unit on floor of closet.

No matter what the set up will be, I’d paint room a light beige, if bedding suits (hope its simple and add interest with cushions) and white drapes (try Ikea). The furniture is dark and room small, so try your best to keep room feeling light.
