Update :

I tried the dryer with damp cloths, did not work. Repeated several times. Finally sprayed the whole piece of batting with water, and repeated it twice. Still didn't work.

Then I went to ironing. Nylon setting. Gradually moved up to cotton setting. Tried a damp press cloth, not enough. Sprayed the batting, then pressed it directly. It began to respond at the lower end of the wool / cotton setting. The deepest creases stayed. But it is usable now.

So stubborn! Both the batting, and me, lol.

I normally buy batting on a roll, though I don't use it often. There was just no roll stock for the thin one I wanted, at 2 stores. Plus I waited an hour in line to pay for this and 1 spool of thread.
