Hi.. reminds me of a Prairie-style house. Are you able to sit there currently, in small chairs?

Here is my house from the front. We had two club chairs there before. I’m just looking to make it look more finished.

You don't have room for seating or any enlarged area next to your driveway. To update your home, remove the bushes that are growing above your windows, and add some landscaping further away from the house. I'd also try to minimize the number of hcolors you have on the house. The stone and brick are fine, but the combination of grey above the windows, yellow siding, and brown garage are all fighting against each other. At the very least, you could paint the garage grey to match the area above your windows and the trim.

Finished -- I can't comment on entry-- I'd like photoshop to show what less shrubbery in front of living section would look like. To me, it widens and emphasizes it.

A railing would make that space unusable. If you aren't using it, put plants there. If you are, then 2 bigger chairs and one table would work. What you have now is a bunch of stuff that looks like clutter in the small picture. Possibly, removing the hose, the gray box and putting some flowers on the table would make it look better.

I think it looks cluttered, as Sigrid says. Landscaping is your play here. Do you have a seating area in the back of the home?

The front of the house needs curb appeal…I would make a walkway around to the front and add a patio…you could add a mid century style privacy screen into the design…remove all the bushes under the front windows…add a Japanese maple or spiral evergreen….than add your chairs and table.
