Cabinet knobs on top front are just for a unified look - we are thinking of adjusting the area to drop down but that will take a cabinet person to cut and adjust. I need a break from the remodel for a while. :-)

Looks gorgeous! How large is the shower? it looks like it is not enclosed? Do you have any issues with water splashing out or the shower not being warm enough? I am planning and would like to do something similar but my husband is not sure it is practical. I’d like to hear your experience.

I'm sorry everyone - I'm not seeing how to reply to each comment individually. So here's an update on a few items/questions asked:

- Shower Size: 5' X 5'. What a change from that little 40" wide shower. We are loving the space so much. I thought I might have allocated too much space - but I'm glad I did! Moving the toilet to the old tub area is how I got all the extra room for the new shower.

- Shower Glass Panel - no door: The shower is zero entry with only a 34" glass panel - no door. I didn't want anything to obstruct the view of that beautiful tile. The glass panel just fades away and it looks like the shower doesn't have any separation. The opening is just approx. 25" and water DOES NOT splashes out. I squeezee the bottom area of the glass panel at the end of each shower. Everyone tried to talk me into a full panel/door but I didn't agree. However, I did agree to have the glass panel installed in a manner that I could add a header later for a door in case they turned out to be right. But we are very with our decision to only have the panel.

- I'll post an image of the toilet room and the wall opposite the shower fixture wall so you can see the niche. I went big on that too. :-)

We are considering similar size and wondered about water splashing out with the zero entry. My only concern is getting chilly while showering.
