Hi. Why not try Lowe’s or Home Depot and peruse their in-stock kitchen cabinets? I bet you could make a perfectly good storage cabinet with them. Good luck!

And check the Container Store, too. Just be aware that IKEA will be the price leader. And you can check out IKEA's 15" deep wall cabinets to create a full wall arrangement. You can also get drawers in the lower section.

PS, don't worry about the tall cabinets, which are the hardest to get. Just stack the shorter ones.

I love Pax and IMO there is not really any other system that is comaprable . Does Ikea have at least the boxes / Then you can design and do the install of those and wait for all the rest . I use Pax a lot and have always loved the whole system. You could try to go with tall pantry caibinets from Ikea for what you are planning but again the boxes maybe but doors and inserts could be a wait. This is going to be an issue with any type of cabinets during Covid.I am not sure about where you are in FLa but Jackson ville seems to have the Pax boxes in stock.

Know that most of ALL Ikea popular products including PAX is going to be out of stock for a while. It's not an Ikea issue. Most of all retailers are in the same boat and suffering from congested shipping containers. Ikea warned their customers and they talk about getting better towards August 2022! MAYBE.

Not really an alternative for that price point but custom made could be the solution with materials from lowes/ home depot. The price of plywood increased though!

It took me months and months to collect all of the components for my closet (tampa store) . Fortunately for me, they delivered to my address, but i made a fair share of visits to the store.BTW, i still need a couple of things. Like Patricia said, theres nothing thats going to give you the value for your money that ikea does. Hopefully this supply chain gets fixed. I am not holding my breath. In the mean time the armoire is a good solution.

Yikes, same here. I really don't want to start with "half a closet" not knowing if or when these components will be back in stock (my luck they'll discontinue the whole dang product line). The closest store is a 3 hr drive and their delivery charge starts at $250 for my location.

Ugh. We had the same battle earlier this year. I couldn’t find anything I liked as much as the Pax. We were able to finally get all pieces (also in Florida) by checking the site every darned morning, and purchasing for pick up. Then I’d make a mad dash (sometimes a few hours to the location that had the pieces in stock) for a pick up (I think they give you 3 days to pick up).

If you have the ability to make a run to the closest store and the patience to check every morning, you may be able to get it pieced together!
