I would put it wherever you think it will be the least running around for you. Depends on where you are in the house while the laundry is being done.

Your iron and ironing board might be more convenient in a different place than your washer and dryer.

I'm assuming you don't hang your laundry outdoors so that's not a consideration.

It matters to me where in the past you have liked 'passing time' ironing? do you like alone in laundry room to check on washes? or bringing it out to another room where peeps are and tv?
