Do you own artwork already? Or are you looking to purchase misc artwork to fill the space? There are tons of ways to lay it out. I would start with one or two pieces that you love and then you can lay out filler art from there.

You can go with wall gallery as well.

As for rug, here is some guide

Could you post pics of the art if you have it. IMO art is best hung after all other elements are in place and the art chosen . There are trully no rules IMO about how many pieces I do however dislike gallery walls in most cases so unless you have a great collection of photos that need to be displayed I would stick to larger pieces.BTW I think you need more drapery panels behind the bed and IMO sew the panels together to create just 2 large panels that can be opened off to the sides . The panels need to be at least 2.5 x larger than the rod and IMO 3x is nicer . Do you have a pic of the headboard ? You need much larger lamps and on both sides of the bed and depending on the style of the headboard I think nicer bedding too Maybe black and white . I like the gallery wall above but really unless you have pieces that need to be displayed I would still do larger pieces BTW I see no point in a rug in a bedroom if most of it is under the bed so I often do really nice runner type rugs on either side of the bed or even in this case some nice sheepskin rugs for a soft landing for feet

It looks like you have a beautiful window wall. Hiding behind drapes and eventually a large headboard. The windows and scene beyond are your feature wall. Wake up in the morning, enjoy the light, and look at the world instead of a dresser and tv. Looks like you have 2 long walls bed could be on. I know every HGTV and pics of bedrooms all seem to put the beds hiding the windows. I cannot understand why except following some sort of advice about seeing the bed when walk in. The TV placement is a small issue but can be solved. Now no blank walls hard to decorate. Add bedding and side rugs as suggested as well as drapes sewn together so can pull to side and enjoy nature.
