Does anyone have experience doing this? I am interested in using ProCoat’s Radcoat Encapsulant UV Curable Finish after sanding/staining. No flooring contractors in our area seem to do this, so I would be going at it myself. Not going to buy the $8000 UV cure machine, but I have a large UV curing light I’ve used for other projects (such as curing Solarez resin for grain filling cabinets)…don’t know if the light will work (but also can’t see why it wouldn’t?)
I really want the scratch resistance and durability that comes with UV cured engineered hardwood but do not what to replace my existing hardwood. This seems like an excellent option if it is something I can DIY. If anyone has experience or thoughts I would really appreciate it! Thank you in advance!
