Dear Houzz community,

I'm stuck on where to install laundry in an old 1910 coop unit (1st floor; coin-operated laundry in basement) with no existing hook ups. I've consulted with a couple plumbers/electricians who have given me three options: 1) sacrifice my only linen closet which backs up to kitchen plumbing lines to install a stackable washer/ventless dryer set; 2) install an all-in-one washer/dryer in my bedroom closet (7ft x 2 ft with customizable elfa shelving); or 3) install either a stackable or all-in-one set in a 12ft x 7ft galley kitchen. I'm leaning toward option 1, but curious if others have faced a similar dilemma and if there are advantages/disadvantages I haven't thought through yet.
