You can use white on the house but you have to use it some place besides the entrance. IMO your shutters are way too undersized and this would be a good place to add the white.

I added a lantern with mustache brackets over the entrance to light the stairs.

Thank you! I LOVE the lantern idea and making the entrance all the same color!! I'm not crazy about keeping the white and wish I could do another color or do I have to keep the white since the windows are white?
