Waiting to go to the P.O.

DH doesn't want to brave the storm to go to the Post Office to pick up my last two fabrics. I can’t blame him.

I’m cold; I’m bored; I don’t feel well, I’m lazy…and I’m not up to making the first cuts in my Pop Rocks project, sooooooooo…Could everyone drop everything and post what projects your playing with today? 🤣 it might light a fire under my tail feathers.

Quilting, regular sewing, needlework, cooking, starting seeds, working puzzles…just whatever you're doing today!

I made lunch (Cream of Wheat); helped DH make the bed, did one load of laundry and have now plopped down in my recliner and am watching the bird feeders.

First thing this morning I took the quilt I had glued off the dining room table. Ran around all morning trying to get projects done I've been putting off. Went to lunch with a friend. Then ran errands all afternoon with hubbie. Now I'm a couch potato for the rest of the evening.

I'll quilt the quilt tomorrow. It's for a friend who had surgery a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to give it to her when she got home, but it is taking me longer than I thought. I'll post a pick once it's done.

Got up, baked the cinnamon rolls that had risen all night. drank coffee and ate cinnamon rolls, looked at FB to see what was going on with my family and friends, thought about quilting, got depressed, took a nap, made sure there was food DH could heat for his supper, watched a little figure skating, now watching Jeopardy and wondering what I'll have for supper. Maybe some tomato soup. I usually get to the sewing machine after DH goes to bed around 9pm.

Very pretty, Char! I spent the morning loading a quilt on my frame and quilting. It’s been months since I’ve quilted! A while back I took my Juki that I use on the frame to the shop for service (it’s probably 20 years old and had never been serviced). Turns out it also needed a new bobbin case. It ran like a dream today!

Beautiful quilt, Char! I love the contrast between the white and dark colors.

If we are talking Saturday , I vacuumed and dusted the main floor ( believe me, it was needed). I did work on a quilt but when the machine started acting up, I quit. and I have been doing some cross stitching in between tasks. Early simple supper, bath time and lights out by 8:30.

Today is a much slower day, I have been having a lot of headaches due, I think, to needing a new eye glass upgrade. Tomorrow, I will get that taken care of. So no quilting, just a bit of reading, and a lot of lying down. Think I will send DH for some takeout supper.
